This project was about finding someone who had a niche trait, job, or skill and record an interview with them. Abigail Carrera ended up being my focus since she started a business during quarantine. This is her story.

This is an example of my off-the-cuff reporting. This was the final interview from the tournament and we didn't have any new questions to ask the players, so I had to quickly come up with questions and responses for the winner. There was also no wrap up cue, nor was I aware of how close the mic needed to be to the interviewee to pick up good audio.

This was my first time pretending to be a reporter. I intentionally added a little bit of personallity and sarcasm to mix to make it more entertaining for my professor to watch and grade since they how they would be watching about 40 of them. This was critiqued by my class the following day and I thought it would be fun to break the fourth wall a little bit. The premise of the project was to interview someone about anything, so I interviewed my roommate on her aspiring passion to be a fashion designer.

This is another interview project, but the purpose of exhibiting this work is to show my ability to host and ask questions off the bat. It's worth mentioning that at the end of the segment, whoever was running teleprompter didn't do their job right, so I couldn't see the script at the end of the show. The ending was my best off-the-cuff reiteration of what I was supposed to say.
